2019 Miami Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Humberto is fundraising to honor Ileana “Nana” Merino.
The 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s has a special meaning this year. As the Walk Chair, I have committed to raising ONE MILLION DOLLARS. Many families are affected with Alzheimer’s and only through research will the first survivor be found. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer’s and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. I have witnessed first hand the impact Alzheimer’s can have not only on the person dealing with it, but also the family and caregivers. It is why I walk and will continue to do so in honor of my “mom” Nana. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease. Please help me achieve my personal and overall goal by making a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s and God bless!
