Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure

Three years ago, former Miami Lakes vice mayor Roberto Alonso lost his battle with a rare form of cancer, Neuroendocrine Carcinoid Cancer. Since then, his family has made it their mission to fight this cruel disease by raising public awareness and remembering those we have lost. The result is Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure, which combines Roberto’s love, his thrill for cars and his fight to survive to support those also suffering. This upcoming Sunday, April 10th, marks Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure’s second year, and promises to be even better than last year, which had over 175 cars on display and over 1000 people in attendance. If you’re a fan of classic cars or just want to enjoy a sunny Sunday afternoon in beautiful Miami Lakes, be sure to stop by.
